Marvellous Oluchi Opurum is a renowned Pharmacist and researcher, with years of professional experience spanning from community pharmacy practice to hospital practice and to academia. Her research interests are drug delivery systems, nanotechnology-based formulations, and pharmaceutical product development. She has been actively involved in academic and research activities focused on formulation and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems, including nanostructured lipid carriers and liquisolid compact technologies.
Her research interests span pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, drug stability studies, novel drug delivery systems and application of advanced characterization techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and particle size analysis in pharmaceutical development. She is committed to advancing pharmaceutical sciences through innovative research aimed at improving drug solubility, bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes.
In addition to her endeavors, Marvellous is passionate about academic mentorship, professional development, and the promotion of excellence in pharmaceutical education and practice.
