Born in the hometown of mbu-Akpoti, Ernest had his primary school education at Aharu Primary School, Mbu-Akpoti from 1995 to 2001. His secondary education was at Community Secondary School, where he obtained wassc in 2008. In 2011, he proceeded to Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu where he obtained NCE in Eng/SOS. Ernest further obtained B.A.Ed in the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2017.  He worked as a teacher of English Language from 2018 to 2025 when he secured a job at SUMAS where he works till date.
