She received her primary education at Unwana Community Primary School, Afikpo, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate before proceeding to Ndams Secondary School, Usumutong, Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State, where she completed her secondary education in 2007. Driven by a passion for science and technology, she enrolled at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, Afikpo, Ebonyi State, where she pursued her tertiary education in Science Laboratory Technology. She successfully completed the National Diploma programme between 2010 and 2012 and later obtained the Higher National Diploma (HND) in the same discipline between 2016 and 2018, equipping her with practical and theoretical competencies in laboratory analysis, scientific investigation, and research methodologies. Mrs. Ibiam currently serves as a Laboratory Technologist II (CONTISS 07 Step 3), where she contributes to the effective operation of laboratory facilities and supports teaching, practical instruction, and research activities.
