Asogwa Chioma Patience is a professional librarian and information specialist currently serving as Librarian II at the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, Enugu State, Nigeria. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree with Distinction from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Science.

Her professional interests span digital librarianship, information literacy, research support services, knowledge management, scholarly communication, research data management, and the application of emerging technologies in library services. She is committed to promoting equitable access to information and enhancing academic excellence through innovative library practices.

As a dedicated information professional, she possesses competencies in information organization and retrieval, digital resource management, database searching, user education, collection development, academic research support, and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in library operations. She is passionate about lifelong learning, professional development, and advancing the role of libraries in teaching, learning, and research within higher education institutions.
