Biography

Dr. Malachy Okonkwo ugwuoke is a Lecturer I in the department of Chemical engineering State University of Medical and applied sciences, Igbo-Eno, Enugu State. He hails from Orba in Udenu local government area of Enugu State. He was born on 31st December, 1972. Dr. Malachy holds a B.Eng. M.Eng and Ph.D. in chemical engineering. His area of research and teaching interest includes environmental engineering, waste processing technology, process design and resource recovery for sustainable development. At SUMAS, he is actively involved in teaching, research and curriculum development in chemical engineering. He committed to mentoring students and building engineering solutions that address local and global challenges. Dr. Malachy is a registered engineer with COREN and contributes to the University’s growth through lecturing, laboratory development and academic mentorship.
