Blessing Ngozi Onyishi is a dedicated Library and Information Science professional with academic and practical experience in higher education librarianship, information literacy instruction, and user support services. She currently serves as a Librarian II at the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Enugu State, where she teaches Information Literacy and Study Skills and provides information services to students, researchers, and staff. She is committed to promoting effective information use and enhancing users' access to both print and digital resources.

She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, graduating with Second Class Upper Division in both programmes, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Library and Information Science at the same institution. Her professional interests include information literacy, digital library services, smart library systems, and the application of emerging technologies to improve library practice and user engagement. She has further enhanced her expertise through certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, and higher education capacity-building programmes.

Blessing is passionate about teaching, research, and continuous professional development. She possesses strong communication, research, analytical, and organisational skills, complemented by proficiency in digital information management and virtual collaboration tools. As an emerging scholar and information professional, she remains committed to advancing innovative library services, supporting academic excellence, and contributing meaningfully to the development of knowledge and higher education.
